Nestled on the 38th floor of a towering skyscraper, our client’s guest suite offers stunning views of Manhattan. To showcase this vista and optimize the use of space, the client enlisted Peter’s help. The design approach focused on creating a sense of intimacy and coziness by placing the sleeping area in a window nook, opening up the rest of the room for a larger lounging and conversation area.
With its integrated nightstand shelves, the headboard hides a half wall under the large window and frames the view, creating a clean and cohesive aesthetic. The neutral color palette and use of natural materials provide a serene ambiance that promotes relaxation and comfort amidst the bustle of the city. The end result is a guest suite that not only showcases the breathtaking views but also provides a functional and inviting space for visitors to enjoy.
